Chocolate cake is a cake flavored with melted chocolate, cocoa powder or both.
Chocolate Milk turned Chocolate Cake
So in my attempt to make chocolate milk, I ended up with chocolate cake. It’s a funny story of adding too much chocolate syrup in my chocolate milk and then deciding to turn it into cake. So the chocolate milk in the recipe is very sugary therefore there’s no need to add more sugar.
In my attempt to eat less carbs, I substituted 1 cup of pastry flour with 1 cup of oat flour. To make oat flour is very simple. Just put your oats in a food processor or blender and blend. It takes less than 5 minutes to turn oats into oat flour. For best results, measure oats after it has been turned into flour.
It is very ideal for someone who doesn’t want too much sugar in their cake.
